Avascular Necrosis of the Left Hip with Surgical Total Hip Replacement - Medical Illustration, Human Anatomy Drawing
This stock medical exhibit illustrates avascular necrosis of the left hip with surgical total hip replacement using six images. The first image is an anterior orientation of the area of focus, the left hip. The second image shows the normal bone tissue of the femoral head and acetabulum in cross section. For comparison, the next image shows avascular necrosis of the femoral head with collapse into the acetabulum. The fourth image shows the incision into the left hip form a lateral view, along with the removal of the femoral head. Then the acetabular and femoral prosthetic devices are depicted being inserted into the joint space. Finally, the post-operative condition is shown in a frontal cut-away view.

"[Your staff] was extremely efficient, cooperative and gracious and [their] efforts produced a demonstrative exhibit that we used effectively throughout our trial. The jury verdict of $3,165,000.00 was, in no small measure, due to the impact of the demonstrative evidence. You may be sure that we will call again."

"Thank you very much for the great work on the medical exhibits. Our trial resulted in a $16 million verdict for a 9 year old boy with catastrophic injuries, and the medical illustrations definitely played key role in the trial."
