Brachial Plexus Injury with Surgical Exploration and Attempted Repair. Based on a specific legal case in the past, this stock medical exhibit begins with two images of the right brachial plexus comparing the condition immediately following a traumatic injury with the subsequent condition some time later. The initial image reveals traumatic stretching and contusion of the nerves of the brachial plexus. The second image shows the widespread scar tissue formation within the injury site. Also, four images are included illustrating the surgical repair of these injuries. These images include the creation of the large open surgical incision, the removal of the scar tissue and the grafting of the accessory nerve to repair the supraclavicular nerve.
