Left Shoulder Injuries and Surgical Repairs - Medical Illustration, Human Anatomy Drawing
Medical exhibit illustrates multiple left shoulder injuries, including impingement syndrome, acromioclavicular joint arthritis, partial rotator cuff tear, partial subscapularis tear, and fraying of the biceps tendon. Four key steps of the surgical repair procedure are also depicted, which are A) insertion of the arthroscopic instruments through stab incisions in the shoulder, B) shaving of the injured muscles and tendon back to stable tissue, C) resection of the anteroinferior third of the acromion and D) resection of 1 cm of the clavicle to decompress the supraspinatus muscle.
