Left Femur Fracture with External and Internal Fixation - Medical Illustration, Human Anatomy Drawing

This stock medical exhibit depicts a comminuted supracondylar fracture of the femoral shaft with subsequent repairs. The first image is a color interpretation of the post-accident x-ray film. The next image shows the initial external fixation of the fracture. The last two images show a step in the internal fixation procedure and a color interpretation of the post-operative condition with the plate and screws in place.
