This exhibit begins with one anterior view of a transparent heart revealing the course of the various coronary arteries. This image will provide an overall orientation to this region with the left anterior descending (LAD) artery clearly labeled. An enlarged cut-away view of the LAD shows multiple stents in place and areas of stenosis. The second half of the exhibit illustrates Three steps of the cardiac catheterization and stent placement procedure are included.
