Traumatic Finger Lacerations with Surgical Repair and Permanent Impairment - Medical Illustration, Human Anatomy Drawing
This stock medical exhibit begins with one palmar view of the right hand illustrating a jagged laceration of the right index finger. Also, an inset enlargement of the index finger is included with all skin and subcutaneous tissue removed in this image. This enlargement clearly reveals underlying flexor tendon lacerations. Next, one intra-operative view of the tendon repair procedure is illustrated. Finally, one additional view of the right hand is included to illustrate permanent impairment. The index finger is shown partially flexed and text indicates that the finger is permanently impaired allowing only 70-75 degrees of flexion rather than the normal 105 degrees.

What attorneys say about MLA and The Doe Report:
"I thought you might want to know that after we sent a copy of your illustration to the defendants, with a copy to the insurance company, they increased their offer by an additional million dollars and the case was settled for $1,900,000.00.

I appreciate your help!"

"I would like to thank all of you at Medical Legal Art for all the assistance you provided. It was a result of the excellent, timely work that we were able to conclude the case successfully.

I feel very confident that our paths will cross again."

"I wanted to thank you for the terrific job you did illustrating my client's injuries. The case was settled at the pre-suit mediation, and I believe a good part of the success we had was due to the medical legal art you prepared.

Your work received the ultimate compliment at the conclusion of the mediation. The hospital risk manager took the exhibit with them at the conclusion of mediation, and will be using it to train nurses on how to prevent bed sores..."

"We got a defense verdict yesterday! Your exhibit was extremely helpful in showing the jury how unlikely it is to damage all four of the nerve branches which control the sense of taste."
