This stock medical exhibit begins with an anterior skeletal view of the right ankle and foot showing the comminuted fractures of the distal tibia and fibula. Next, multiple steps of the surgical fixation are illustrated, including the placement of tibial and calcaneal pins and the application of an external fixator.
