В фильме показаны следующие процессы: начальное повреждение эндотелия сосудистой стенки, дифференцировка лейкоцитов, проникающих в артериальную стенку, до макрофагов, которые поглощают холестерин. rnrnПри этом макрофаги трансформируются в пенистые клетки, которые становятся частью бляшки на сосудистой стенке.
