Coronaire-bypass (CABG)-operatie - Medical Animation

Deze medische 3D-animatie toont een coronaire-bypass-operatie (CABG) die wordt gebruikt om aandoeningen van de kransslagaders te bestrijden. Na een insnijding midden over het borstbeen wordt het hart aangesloten op een hart-longmachine, die de hartfuncties tijdens de operatie overneemt. Twee soorten transplantaten kunnen dienen als omleiding voor de vernauwde kransslagaderen: de binnenste borstwandslagader en de vena saphena, een ader uit het been. Na de ingreep worden er schokken toegediend zodat het hart weer gaat slaan. Via een drainageslang die achterblijft in de insnijding wordt overtollige vloeistof afgevoerd. De animatie toont daarna twee andere methodes voor een coronaire-bypass-operatie, namelijk een off-pump-bypassoperatie en een minimaal invasieve bypassoperatie.
