Multilevel Lumbar Discogram - Medical Illustration, Human Anatomy Drawing
This stock medical illustration features a left side view of a white male with the lateral spinal column and vertebral discs. Multilevel discogram spinal needles are shown inserted into the low back at L2-3, L3, 4, L4-5 and L5-S1. A sagittal inset reveals a larger cut-away in detail. L2-3 represents a normal disc, while the discs at L3-4, L4-5 and L5-S1 all show bulging discs with annular fissures - pain generators.
