Traumatic Crush Injuries - Medical Illustration, Human Anatomy Drawing
This medical exhibit begins with one large anterior upper body view of a male figure from the chest down to the knees. The anterior wall and various intraperitoneal organs of the abdomen are removed allowing us to clearly see the deeper organs, posterior abdominal wall and the lumbar spine. The skeletal anatomy of the upper legs are shown transparently beneath the skin. We include the crush injury to the tail of the pancreas surrounded by the retroperitoneal hemorrhage from the damaged adrenal gland, the compression fracture of L5, the transverse process fractures of L4, L5 and S1 and the comminuted and angulated fracture of the distal aspect of the right femur. Also, one sagittal (side cut-away) view of the lumbar spine to show the compression fracture at L5 and the retrolisthesis of L5, the anterior compression of L4 and the abnormalities of the L3-4 and L4-5 discs.

What attorneys say about MLA and The Doe Report:
"Thanks, and your illustrations were effective in a $3 million dollar verdict last Friday."

"You and your company are wonderful. Your service, turnaround time, quality and price were better than I could have asked for. Please add me to your long list of satisfied customers."

"At 3 PM it hit me--I needed exhibits of a tracheostomy, a coronary artery bypass and a deep vein thrombosis--all in time for a for-trial video deposition the next day. The Doe Report had each exhibit on line. In addition, I ran across an exhibit I hadn't even thought of: reduced ejection fraction after a heart attack. Because this was a video deposition, I could use the e-mail version of the medical exhibit, print it on my color copier, and let the camera zoom in. For $400, less than one blow-up by one of The Doe Report's competitors, I got four first-rate exhibits in less than a day. The Doe Report saved me time and money."

"Our firm was able to settle our case at an all day mediation yesterday and I am confident that the detail and overall appearance of the medical illustrations significantly contributed to the settlement. When we require medical illustrations in the future, I will be sure to contact [MLA]."
