Left Shoulder Injuries - Medical Illustration, Human Anatomy Drawing
This is a board created in addition to the Evans Rivera case exhibit 79415 back in May of 2014. It was to further illustrate the injuries sustained by the client in his left shoulder.\r\n\r\nThis board compared the normal anatomy of the left shoulder in one image with three subsequent images illustrating the patient’s condition. The first injury image is the most external depicting the patient’s “frozen” shoulder with adhesive capsulitis. The second injury image shows more of the internal injuries including thickening of the synovium, a non-displaced fracture in the scapular neck, fluid in the biceps brachii tendon sheath, and tendinopathy of the supraspinatus tendon. There is also a third image inset showing the swelling the bone marrow in the acromion and head of the humerus.

"Thank you for the wonderful illustrations. The case resulted in a defense verdict last Friday. I know [our medical expert witness] presented some challenges for you and I appreciate how you were able to work with him."

"Medical Legal Art has always performed quality and efficient work. The doctors that review the exhibits are always amazed at the precise descriptions and drawings."

Michael Beckman
Viles Law Firm, P.A.
Fort Meyers, FL

"For modern audiences, it is absolutely essential to use medical demonstrative evidence to convey the severity and extent of physical injuries to a jury. Your company's high quality illustrations of our client's discectomy surgery, combined with strong expert testimony, allowed the jury to fully appreciate the significance of our client's injuries.

We are very pleased with a verdict exceeding $297,000.00, far in excess of the $20,000.00 initially offered by the defendant. The medical demonstrative evidence provided by Medical Legal Art was an asset we could not have afforded to have been without."
