Left Femoral Nerve Decompression - Medical Illustration, Human Anatomy Drawing

Left total hip replacement post-operative condition several months after: Heterotopic bone growth has occurred over the anterior aspect of the femur and over the acetabulum due to an anterior column fracture during prior surgery. Adhesions has also formed in the area creating femoral nerve compression. Two incisions are shown where a new surgery takes place for debridement and decompression of the femoral nerve.
