Female Abdomen with Post-accident Bowel Injuries with Surgical Repair - Medical Illustration, Human Anatomy Drawing
This stock medical exhibit shows post-accident bowel injuries with surgical repair. The first illustration shows an anterior view of the post-accident injuries, including serosal tears of the small bowel, mesentery contusions and a cecal tear extending into the ascending colon with a hematoma. The second illustration shows the creation of incisions into the abdomen and the placement of the laparoscopic instruments. The third illustration shows the repair of the bowel tears in an enlarged view of the cecum and ileum.
